5.5 designers: 'guide to free farming' project

various tools designed for the free farming project
5.5 designers proposed 'the guide to free farming' at the ICSID world design congress
during singapore design week 09. lead by design indaba the research project uses
radical solutions to produce food, energy and resources.
'the guide to free farming' project was presented in the form of a book that aimed to
restore a close relation between consumers and the natural environment, creating
a shorter link to guide people who live in cities to take on the role of farmers in
their urban environment. it is about farming in the city and encourages readers to discover
the unsuspecting resources hidden in our towns. the book includes recipes like street flower
salad and grilled rat, along with instruction guides to, for instance, plucking a pigeon or
a starling just as we once plucked chickens, tips for collecting dandelion greens, snails
and honey, as well as guides to mushroom picking and uses for expired food is also
included. the good address section provides schedules for traditional gleaning sessions at
our best markets and food factories.

Bravo
I wonder how those kind of rough stuff gets media attention.
When designers or people in general cannot offer something with weight and worth, they resort to a joke to lighten the load. This is evident socially and also creatively. 5.5 designers show no maturity or longevity. get serious
Great work guys! =)

Quand on a de l'humour dans son travail il en faut aussi pour recevoir toutes ces critiques que je trouve particulièrement drôle et efficace. 2nd degres!
