swiss firm HHF architects together with chinese artist ai weiwei recently collaborated on a proposal for the international competition to design an extension for the kunstmuseum basel. they were awarded 4th prize for their project. the art museum urgently depends on an extension of its premises since consistent lack of space makes it currently impossible to exhibit numerous pieces of its renowned collection.
