these days, public fountains are typically an eyesore. the fountain mirror, designed by
nicolas le moigne for inout, permits this urban infrastructure to be transformed into an
outdoor bathroom, a place to freshen up.

nicolas le moigne won the designboom MACEF competition 'RE-think and REcycle' in 2005
with 'watering can'. the project was later changed to 'twist & spout' and unveiled at the ICFF
designboom mart in new york in 2005. the same year le moigne participated also in the
designboom mart in tokyo.
Jeez, outdoor bathrooms? Have we really become that pressed for time that we can't even step inside to use the bathroom any more?
We may want to 'RE-think and Re-cycle' this idea.

each objected is based on the notion of presenting art or design in galleries and museums, exhibited on a pedestal or plinth, serving to enhance the designs' simple forms and deliberate choice of dimensions.

reminiscent of the way objects are presented in galleries around the world, the series features three hand-crafted vessels that are displayed as if they were of social and historical importance.
