designer roderick vos' vanity reading table for linteloo is based on a composition of
nine compartments, whose sizes are based on the most common magazine dimensions.
each section offers space for one magazine. one compartment includes a wooden panel
which can be used to place a coffee cup, vase of flowers or left unused. below the table,
there are three boxes which have the capacity to hold complete volumes of a magazine.
once the table is filled with magazine's, vanity reflects the styles and interests of its owner.
there are two designs - one is based on a square base, the other on a rectangular base.
both models include nine compartments in total. the frame is made of matte black coated steel.
the wooden panel is made of black frake or ebony veneer.
roderick vos will be presenting his reading table at design post, cologne design week
from january 18th to 24th, 2010.
