sam baron for vista alegre

sam baron for vista alegre

at maison et objet sam baron exhibited his 'spices' and 'royal actual' collection he designed
for portugese porcelain manufacturer vista alegre.

'spices' collection

the portuguese, during its great explorations, not only brought the porcelain from china,
butalso the traditions of how to use spices in the culinary art. vista alegre has always
celebrated the nature by using floral motives.

the service 'spices' brings a formal tribute into the kitchen ritual, integrating an inevitably
devotion for taste, with a mixture of flavors and cultures. the re-interpreted ingredients
create a reflection and not mimicry the special cultural references of the brand.
motives are in harmony with several contents on which they are applied. the treatment
used on pieces combine photographic and graphic techniques, associating simultaneously
all types of classic and present representations, from the engraving to the digital.
