missmoun: digital lights


‘wire chandelier’

missmoun is the new york based studio of digital tinkerer and designer mouna andraos. andraos
specializes in turning digital things into artistic pieces of functional design. many of her projects
are lighting based including this LED chandelier and rubber night lights. the LED chandelier is
composed of 300 hand soldered LED lights that are suspended from colourful wires. the lights
surround a ring at the bottom of the design, while the wires make up the body of the chandelier.
the night lights also employ LED lights which are embedded in rubber and powered through
conductive thread that weaves around inside the rubber.
