'lutz' boxlights

german designer david oelschlaegel has won the title of 'best product design' for his boxlights,
as part of [d3] design talents' school competition at the imm cologne 2010. it has been the
designer's graduate project at burg giebichenstein university in halle, germany.






the spotlights are covered with a translucent black cotton fabric, and their luminosity
can be regulated through the use of blinders.








david oelschlaegel has also designed the fourfold and sixfold electric sockets 'maik' and 'mandy'.
