los angeles-based design firm 'artecnica', showed its 2010 collection at maison et objet in paris.
here are two of our favorite items:


'phrena' lamp by karl zahn

this is the table version of the flat packed hanging lamp


karl zahn's 'phrena' table light,

upon manipulation this perfectly flat light fixture transforms into a beautiful 3-D shade.
the honeycomb structure is made of white and pink Tyvek® paper by DuPont ™

to complement the wide range of elegant pendant lights, artecnica now offers new
electrical cord kits that feature a textile covered cord available in black and white textile.
