alongside scholten & baijings' 'paper table', dutch designer kiki van eijk was the other participant
in the total table design project that was presented at object rotterdam 2010. her vision of the art
of dining is 'table-palette', a table setting of visual stories.

royal leerdam crystal (glassware), koninklijke van kempen & begeer (cutlery/table accessories)
and the audax textile museum, tilburg (table linen) collaborated to produce their designs.
all three partners come from a long tradition of artisan production and they regularly work
in conjunction with a select group of designers from the netherlands and beyond.
the crockery was developed at cor unum and the european ceramic workcentre (EKWC)
in den bosch.

the unique chairs explore the tooling process and technical experimentation of recycled plastics in design.

these pieces were inspired by the men and women of the dutch zuiderzee. the pieces refer to the demise of the fishing industry and traditional crafts.
kiki van eijk: canvas series
canvas series consists vases and pots that are first produced in fabric and decorated with details such as buttons and shoelaces before being cast into ceramic.
