studio volpi: solar powered lawn mower

studio volpi is a small design studio based just outside of milan who have developed a lawn mower that
is powered entirely by solar power. the concept for the design was to transform the gas guzzling lawn
mowers of today, into much smaller and quieter ‘garden cleaners’. the electric mower would be
lightweight, quiet and inexpensive. the handle would fold down to make it even more compact and the
simple design would make it easy to operate. the solar voltaic panel sits on the top of the mower and
stores energy inside a removable polymer-ion battery system.
