that's really nice for zapping without that annoying cold breeze.

'Once upon a time, there was a freezing American student who came upon the idea of Sleeve Blanket aka SLANKET. His mother knitted the first. The rest is history'

One subzero night in 1998 during my first semester of college I could not escape Maine's winter bite. While watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien I decided I needed to tear a hole in my sleeping bag so I could keep my upper body warm as I channel surfed during the commercial breaks. During Christmas vacation I commissioned the first Slanket to be made by my mother...and it was born.

2 persons cannot have the same idea?
the slanket looks ridiculous, this looks good, i want one
Pieter   02.17.10
Pieter is right, i want one too ...
Nick   02.17.10
amazing!!
Luciano Lucrezi   02.17.10
yeah, it's so amaaaazing! I think it should have some more sleeve-like apendixes for different parts of body - my ears are also cold when I read, and my nose especially. C'mon people...

Pieter - it's like inventing beautiful hot water. It's not new as it claims.

"the slanket looks ridiculous, this looks good". that's your humble opinion, dude. the slanket "looks" warmer and fulfills its purpose. it doesn't mystify, as more designers do, its "great idea" and a "perfect form". in my humble opinion.
Milo   02.17.10
@pieter. i think that actually here books that they hold look really god, not amazing like Luciano Lucrezi sad for a blanket (its a hard word for blanket, i think), but good. and pieter and nick, first consider hands sweating, before you get sleeve blanket. because if you plan to read "war and peace", you have to wash blanket every day.

I agree, the Slanket and Snuggie have been around too long to play to pretend to come up with this idea simultaneously.

However, where the Slanket and Snuggie are plush emblems of American laziness and sloth, this is something else...and is how it should be presented. You can't ignore your predecessors without looking ignorant.
