sebastian herkner: birdhouse
'birdhouse', front entrance is made of larch wood
german product designer sebastian herkner has designed a birdhouse that straps on
easily to trees without the need of nails, hooks or screws. aside from not damaging
the trunks of trees, the straps also allow the birdhouse to be relocated easily.
the body of the birdhouse is manufactured using a traditional aluminum compression
process. this design was commissioned and produced by radius.
'birdhouse', the opening is ideal for birds the size of a titmice
'birdhouse' with adjustable straps can accommodate trunks of various diameters
a belt is much more fashionable. Maybe you can get belts in different colours to go with different seasons? Also i think belts are adjustable.
