zim and zou: paper gameboy

image: zim and zou
the french design studio zim and zou just released a series of projects that recreate a vintage gameboy
using nothing but paper. the studio built their own scale gameboy in the original grey colour and a vivid
neon model. looking at their model you can see they recreated every detail from the ports on the side of
the device to the graphics on the game cartridge. each one was made using cut out piece of paper that
were fastened together and assembled into the final units. while the paper gameboys don't actually play
games, zim and zou also created a full-scale 3-D version of the classic game title tetris.
