ettore sottsass bodum kettle

here’s a novelty, if we can call it that: the 1.7 l electric water kettle designed by
ettore sottsass for danish kitchenware company bodum in 1986. it comes in four
powdery colors and is made from plastic, stainless steel and silicone. bodum collaborated
with sottsass associates to resolve the technical problems of the production of the kettle's
metallic spout, and finally in may 2010 it will hit the stores as part of ' e-bodum', a new
line of electric appliances.
