each of these pieces are attached at a central point and fanned in a circular arrangement
at an angle of 35 degrees from each other. in this formation the plates lean up against one another,
maintaining a strong structure, in which they simultaneously function as the legs, seat, back

Definitely conciously or unconciously itīs the same chair, but itīs not a crime to make it, and really make it more beautiful? Isnīt it ? So wtf if it looks the same?

I can swear I never copied the design.
I made this chair for a university graduation work in 2008.
But now, I checked when his work's done.
It seems clearly true that his work's done before 2006, I can see it with his press.
So I am ashamed of the fact that I didn't know his work or of lack of researching.
I appreciate telling me nice information.

Iīm sorry guys but I fail to see where a "food plate" has anything to do with a "chair", but maybe its just me.
Saying that one designer copied another's idea is like saying that Stark's Orange Juice maker form is not original because it looks like a spider.
Nothing is created, you canīt create you can only assimilate and define.
What the designer here did was assimilate a form to a definition which noone else did before, a chair.
Great job and keep up the good work.

djorge, you managed to express exactly what I was thinking about the issue of idea vs execution
also, it was me who commented that I wasnt sure if I liked the design (I had no idea about all the other stuff)
but I thought about it, and saw jean nouvels new building and I realised. if he (JN) had done this chair I would have called it brave and amazing and I realise thats probably how I should see this chair

Maybe I'm a little exagerate but I think this chair is a little dangerous because of cuts and steel.
fer 03.26.10
I think this chair is so lyrical. It is sculptural and practical. Congratulations! I look forward to seeing your work in the future.
