rolf sachs smart car 'sprinkle'

'sprinkle'

london-based designer rolf sachs as teamed up with smart car for a special presentation
in zona tortona during milan design week 2010. the result of the collaboration is smart car fortwo
'sprinkle' which utilizes sachs' distinctive splashing and marking technique to create a customized,
free spirited and individual car with vivid colors and paint splatters, that even includes his hand-print.
sachs' artistic approach is continued on the car's interior, which is upholstered in grey felt
and peppered with blue, green, red and yellow buttons. elements of the dashboards have been
splashed with paint. each 'sprinkle' comes with a range of accessories: vanity mirror,
personalized voodoo doll (with sharp pencils to exercise potential road rage) and paper clips,
which can be attached to the magnetic dashboard. the interior aims to create a 'lived-in' space rather
than a conventional car interior.

the smart car fortwo 'sprinkle' draws on sachs' passion for art and the human element which
is often found in his work.

'the new 'sprinkle' incorporates a free and unconstrained design philosophy. I love humour
and I think it is a very important thing in life which automatically gets translated into my pieces.
I like to add a twinkle in the eye and a smile on one's face.

am i the only one to whom what follows happend more than once?

"hum yeah, nice poster design but could you please make it more creative...like with paint splats all over?"

i like the interiors of the smart and it's not like all the rest in this post is unpleasant to look at but i just HATE paint splatts. i think they are the stereotype of creativity for whoever is not creative at all
