vertical orientation

'orion suitcase' is an aluminum and natural cowhide luggage piece by Hermès design director,
gabriele pezzini, for the french luxury brand.

the ergonomic travelling companion, has a brushed anodized aluminum shell,
with an interior surface which has been reinforced with carbon and kevlar.
these materials provide a strong resistance to wear and tear and frequent travel.

there are two natural cowhide handles, which are a reference to Hermès travel world.
the orientation of the handles allow one to carry the suitcase either horizontally or vertically,
while the multi-directional wheels make for easy use.

Nice retro'ish design, but the wheels won't last long at the airport !

Design building names, labels, unnecessary unaffordable luxury.
che fare.
Ignoring all that this could also be seen as a fair wack at evolving hermes baggage. Difficult to do much with all the historical baggage that goes with the label.
Could have been squarer, more like an Apple aluminium/leather laptop?
