'kasting' collection

founded in 2007 by raymond davids, singaporean furniture company d-bodhi,
works along the motto of 'old wood, new life, no waste', to construct new pieces by
combining reclaimed teak wood with galvanized pipes made of garbage iron parts.

the production process involves a team of suppliers which sources reclaimed wood from old houses,
bridges and railroad ties, from east java. the durable wood of the tectona grandis trees from this
indonesian island makes the raw material ideal for new furniture pieces. d-bodhi's new
'industrial revolution' collection has been shown at the IFFS singapore furniture fair 2010.
