naoto fukasawa tomo for depadova

'tomo'
during the salone del mobile 2010, italian furniture company depadova presents new pieces
in their showroom in corso venezia 14 in milan. japanese designer naoto fukasawa contributed
with 'tomo' - which means 'friend' in japanese - a compact seating solution for private and public
spaces. fukasawa's design consists of a frame in aluminum, reinforced with steel, thus combining
light lines with great strength. the armrests are cantilevered and stand independently from the
back and seat, but are able to support large weights. 'tomo' comes with a removable fabric cover
for easy cleaning.
