ran amitai: nature of material at salone satellite 2010

'nature of material' in new colors

earlier this year, designboom published an article on israeli designer ran amitai's 'nature of material',
a series of stackable furniture. the idea of the project is to combine straight origami-like folds
with natural folds. this integration between the strict and natural folds creates a steady construction
from one hand and a soft, organic, upholstery like shape from the other. now, the series includes
new colors and the addition of a coffee table.

ran amitai is part of the israeli design group bakery whose work is being shown at salone satellite 2010.
