the ‘structural skull ring’ is part of bits to atoms, a range of bespoke unisex 3D jewelry developed by industrial designer duann. the jewelry line uses additive manufacturing techniques whereby each piece is laser sintered together particle by particle, layer by later.  here the structure of the skull is reduced to the minimum number of connecting lines to describe the form of the skull ring in a triangulated gestalt manner. all jewelry is designed in australia using parametric 3D modelling software then 3D printed by shapeways, in the netherlands.

the ring is available for purchase for limited period of time and comes in sizes 4-14 on white nylon.
