'tafelstukken' by dutch design duo dahna isaacs and laurens manders retranslates lamps as
contemporary classical centerpieces. by playing with elements of shape, material and light,
the designs stand out as they illuminate themselves and their contents.

isaacs is interested in transforming everyday objects into characteristic products.
she researches tradition, materials, composition and translates them into colorful
contemporary forms.

'tafelstukken' is being presented as part of milan design week 2010 for the dutch invertuals
exhibition. the show is composed of a group of merged individuals who worked together and
contributed their specific expertise to realize this multidisciplinary presentation.
