naoto fukasawa: AF/21 for fantini and boffi


'ART A104' washbasin mixer with separated spout. progressive cartridge

'AF/21' by naoto fukasawa for boffi and fantini are a tap collection made in polished chrome
and satin finish anodized chrome brass. the shape is the result of an exploration into the simplification
of faucet forms with maximum clarity and emphasis is given to the aesthetic quality of materials.
the taps and mixers are in the shape of discs and cylinders whereby the taps are reminiscent of the
forms found on the controls of a stereo.

'AF/21' is commissioned for 'aboutwater' a partnership project between italian companies boffi,
known for their kitchen-, bathroom furniture and systems and fantini, dedicated to the technological
research and production of taps.
