the giovannoni washlet is the result of collaboration between TOTO and stefano giovannoni,
and the first example of TOTO europe’s design series. giovannoni represents an added
dimension for TOTO and features TOTO’s revolutionary technological advances including
tornado flush, the triple-jet rimless flushing system and CeFiONtect - the hygienic glazing
for ceramic surfaces. the toilet has been designed to appeal to european bathroom tastes,
with sweeping lines creating a softer silhouette.

stefano giovannoni's interpretation has been achieved with no sacrifice of technology,
and still features a self-cleaning washing wand, a heated seat, a deodorizer and remote control.
also present have been TOTO's revolutionary rimless toilet design, tornado flush and its
CeFiONtect coating that keeps in mind the company's clean technology mantra.
TOTO states that giovannoni washlet captures both the essence of italian style
and the sophistication of japanese bathroom culture.

exclusively launched at the world’s leading design expo, milan salone internazionale del mobile.

toski   04.20.10
its the icon for the crap cleaning water jet, not of some one taking a crap. from forwards to bakcwards for ladies (press up) and backwards to forwards for gentleman (press down) also pressure control, and temperature.

I hate those futuristic toilets...I think they're spooky!
did you read the names of the functions: "tornado flush, the triple-jet rimless flushing system and CeFiONtect"...I would never sit on that thing!
a.d.k.v   04.20.10
I was kind of against too, but now I now that they are great.
If you start using it you will not miss it anymore.
H.Friedman   04.20.10
wow - toilet with remote control!
jayee   04.20.10
all that styling and a dodgy electric plug - who forgot that?
woodan   04.20.10
Damn, that looks impressive.
Tom Smith   04.20.10
you see that a man designed this toilet. no space for girls when sitting down.
A dude who like elongated toilets   04.20.10
kinda difficult to sense the best of the technology featured in this functional piece of any house. Once you use this kinda toilet with all its innovative features, you go back no more to the regular stuff. know it ain't easy to get started with.
lukumwena, nsenda   04.21.10
I think it is a nice project because of its remote control.
It makes the basin less messy with control buttons integrated.
when I lived in Japan I regularly used a TOTO washlet and really miss it in Italy.
Want one!
Gabriele   04.21.10
This will be a perfect compliment to my iPad.
