the wooden chair by joerg boner is the third product of his collection for swiss company wogg. the moulding of plywood is an old technique which has seen rapid development in recent years due to the introduction of CNC cutting machines. complex components can be inserted into the molding machines and pressed directly with the plywood. this method opens up new possibilities for shaping and constructing objects. the collection was shown at the salone del mobile 2010 in milan.
