spanish designer patricia urquiola's new 'comback chair' for kartell, revisits the classic
windsor chair and brings it into a contemporary context. drawing on the furniture of
18th century england, urquiola's version of a comb back chair features a backrest consisting of
seven 'teeth' which spread out towards the lumbar region of one's back, where they meet at a
reinforced hexagonal rim with slim shafts radiating downwards to join the seat.
the single mould chair is made from batch-dyed thermoplastic technopolymer.
