antoinette bader: triangular beans


'triangular beans'

'triangular beans' developed by industrial designer antoinette bader is a derivation of
the beanbag chair with an added variation. the form of the product is generated by the
cooperation of hard and soft parts. the upper side of the cover is structured by firm padded
triangles, which are flexibly interconnected. the inside is filled with polystyrene pellets.
the form of the chair can be modified via triangular handles for a customizable seating position.

'triangular beans' was presented at salone satellite in milan.

Hey mdl, its a facette trend (old trend btw) with many designers using this style, when the Bouroullecs brought out their first Facette sofa with Roset would you say that they ripped off Grcic's 'chair one' or Nike 'City Knife' trainers ? No they just followed a trend.

Looks low to sit in for taller folks. Feel that bean bags and anything that imitates, should have three air bags as a base (for people of different heights) so that people are able to get out of them with ease. Comfort factor great otherwise d;-)
