VOA architects: roosevelt university

a new vertical campus, roosevelt university, chicago by VOA associates



a new vertical campus for roosevelt university, chicago is being built. designed by american
firm VOA associates. the slim and tall academic and residential tower features an undulating
glass facade in various shades of blue.

the 32 storey mixed use structure will house administrative offices and classrooms, a dining hall
and fitness center, a conference centre and science labs and residence suites for more then 600
students. the building will also house the university’s business school. with residences located
on the top 17 floors, students will study among the stars while enjoy views of the city’s skyline,
grant park and chicago’s waterfront.

the building which is expected to cost 110 million USD has been designed to obtain LEED silver
certification. it is expected to open in 2012.
