located in florida, the tampa covenant church is a modernist white stucco structure that makes use of the fibonacci sequence
in its design. the project was recently awarded the aia florida award of design excellence and measures 25,000 square feet
in area. the church features a worship sanctuary, administrative offices and classrooms spread across a new building and
two existing ones, which were renovated as part of this project. the architect connected these through an outdoor courtyard
that serves as an outdoor meeting place. the exterior design and interior layout take inspiration from the fibonacci sequence,
used for establishing scale and proportion among all the elements.
