at the beginning of october adobe launched the adobe museum of digital media, a virtual museum dedicated to preserving
innovative digital work and chronicling how digital media influences culture and society. the all digital museum exists as
a virtual building accessible through the web that was designed by italian architect filippo innocenti. the museum will
continue to evolve over time covering a range of subjects including photography, products and broadcast communications.
like the first exhibit, ‘valley’ by tony oursler and curated by tom eccles, all future displays will be overseen by guest
curators. because of the museum’s digital nature it is accessible to anyone with web access, 24 hours a day, 365 days
a year.
