japanese yasutaka yoshimura architects have designed an office building
for nakagawa masashichi shoten, a wholesale store in nara city, japan.
while the company's operations for handling tea ceremony and hemp goods were housed
in separate buildings, it was decided that the two should be integrated together as one new facility.
under such constraints as the need for developing a single-story structure with a parking lot,
the focus of design was to construct a work / storage area consisting of flexible spaces.
