set in the site and economical context of berlin, 'tempelhof ministry of food' is a proposal
by bartlett-graduate lik san chan that looks into the production of organic food in a new
infrastructural and social typology. located on the old tempelhof airfield, the project is
a joint venture between edeka, germany's largest food retailer, and the berlin state,
seeking to address the city's current problems with unemployment and social disparity.

centered around a sense of co-existence and community, the design of the program was
influenced by the biblical story of five loaves of barley bread and two fish feeding an assembly
of five thousand people. in a similar aspect, the 'tempelhof ministry of food' aims to feed
the many through self-sustaining measures.

centered around a sense of co-existance and community, the program recruits
the unemployed for a 6 month worker-in-residence position. during this time,
bread and products of fish are produced which is both shared amongst the workers
as well as distributed to the rest of the city. identity and branding campaigns by edeka
will be implemented to increase sales, boost profits, and stimulate the economy.

while my heart is with the concept i must say these designs seem to harden the authoritarian aspects of templehof's form

romantic renders. makes me buy into the somewhat socialist concept.

How Stalinistic the approach of the project, and it's renders might be, I find it a quit romatic project and a far more promising answer to acutal problems of quality of food in large cities than the industrialization of foodproduction as we have seen so far!

Translating the above comment ...

We would appreciate that the author and his readers took a good look on the site Aquarian Agenda and also in this FB link: facebook link . In the same vein, see also Rede Aurora . We believe that there is, despite the many "noises", a global convergence, planetary, moving into a totally different form of civilization than this we currently have today, one that is revealed by the prophetic guidelines of the aforementioned AQUARIAN AGENDA! Those who live shall see! The current model or established order will disappear naturally, without any action from us. We don´t have to save it, but lovingly let it go, let it die, so we can all be free from millennia of crystallizations that we were all accumulating one life after another! These are other times!
