while the designboom team was in paris, we visited odile decq and her studio
to get a sneak peek at the office space as well as some recent projects.
located on a narrow street north of the seine, the firm occupies the upper
floor of a 5-storey building.

housed in a gable ceiling volume, the layout of the working space is largely open
and permeable for open communication and dialogue. circulation is defined by
free standing book shelves holding binders, books and references.
though the original gut of the building has been removed, architectural elements
and details such as the old structural frames are left intact.
