functions are arranged in accordance with the cardinal directions, positioning the higher security areas near the east end of the structure with minimal penetrations to the facade. the western half contains public spaces with access to an open courtyard. privacy and security are controlled through strategic placement of reception and desks to ensure universal safety while the interaction within the spaces becomes more informal towards the south end of the building.
