the emerging east

the museum of finnish architecture in helsinki is presenting an exhibition highlighting the built culture from former
socialist countries who are now european union members. the show titled, 'emerging identities - east!',
features work from young architects in germany, slovakia, hungary, slovenia, the czech republic, latvia, estonia,
lithuania and poland. in all, the exhibit is showing the work of over 90 architects, who's work ranges in size from
public buildings to smaller interventions. it will run in the museum's main hall from november 21, 2007 to
february 17, 2008.
