ben van berkel & the theatre of immanence

'ben van berkel & the theatre of immanence' is a group installation by ben van berkel, luis etchegorry and johan
bettum. their architectural installation titled 'the thing', is being shown at portikus in frankfurt, germany beginning
november 25, 2007 and running until january 13, 2008. the show features work from participants in the 'space of
communication' project by the städelschule architecture class, which investigated contemporary social interaction
and communication. in addition to the central 'thing' and the installed projects, meso digital interiors will also be
showing a series of projection pieces titled, 'on things off things on' that will create a unique illumination of the
space. throughout the duration of the exhibit, the space will also serve as a hub for a variety of other activities
including lectures and other events.
