national library in prague future systems

future systems has sent us some images of their new prague project, 'the national library'. the building site is
situated in a large green space and was designed to complement the baroque architect of prague. the outer
shell of the building is made from champagne coloured anodized aluminum tiles. large openings in the shell deliver
tons of natural light inside. the top is capped by a viewing platform overlooking the city. inside, the building will hold
over 10 million books, which will be distributed by an automated storage and retrieval system. it is set be be
complete by 2011.
