studio tour: woha architects

woha worskspace
while in singapore for the singapore design festival, designboom was treated to a tour of
woha's studio in the city's downtown core. the studio is divided into three section, the office,
the showroom and terraces. as you enter the studio you are confronted with a collection
of traditional carved wood decorations. moving into the office space you can see a glimpse
of the green atrium which is covered in an eco-wall full of greenery. the use of plants is
especially evident when you walk onto the terraces which overlook the city. the terrace has
a massive wood plank table designed by the studio along with most of the other furnishings
in the building. the terrace covers two levels connected by a minimal staircase. the main floor
is used to showcase models and other works by the studio. they were featuring three of their
new projects when we visited. woha was also one of the winner's at the president's design awards
for their '1 moulmein rise' project.
