'yongsan business district'

seoul, south korea is rapidly changing and will continue to evolve in the next few year's thanks to a number of
ambitious architectural projects. among them is the new 'yongsan business district' which plans to be completed
by 2016. the new district will feature a 152-story tear-shaped tower that, when built, will be one of the world's
tallest buildings. as previously featured, seoul also held an international design competition last year to design the
'dongdaemun world design park' the competition winner was zaha hadid. these two project are among a number
of new works planned to re-develop the city in anticipation of their title as 2010 world design capital.
