james law cybertecture international: egg building, mumbai

according to james law cybertecture international the buildings of the future will be typified by
'new intangible materials of technology, multimedia, intelligence and interactivity. only by recognizing
this will we bring a new form of architecture to light, namely a cybertecture'.

james law were commissioned by vijay associates (wadhwa developers) to create an office 'unlike any other'
in mumbai, india. their response is this 'egg-shaped' building which will accommodate 13 floors of offices
and is stated as bringing together 'iconic architecture, environmental design, intelligent systems, and
new engineering to create an awe-inspiring landmark in the city'.

the building is due for completion by the end of 2010. read more about this project at world architecture news
