vivaldi tower by foster + partners

the foster + partners designed vivaldi tower in amsterdam’s new zuidas district was recently completed. the two
columned building is completely columns free, allowing open floor plans on every level. natural light is allowed to
enter the buildings by staggering the two towers slightly and through the linking channel which holds communal
double height spaces. on the ground floor an outlying building houses a restaurant, auditorium and terrace.
the building is 24-stories and features a water garden and pond in the landscaping.
