sporadical is a prague based architecture office that completed their ‘wooden house’ project in 2007. the building
is located in central bohemia at a former arboretum and is partly built on the foundation of the site’s original
weekend house. the resident wanted a home, which was economical with spacious rooms and a close link to
nature. in response, sporadical created a 3 level home with some enclosed rooms (which have movable walls)
and an open concept main living area which looks into the forest through large expanses of glass. the rooftop can
be used as a patio and some of the full-length windows can be completely opened.
