next-gen20 project at the 2008 venice architectural biennale


‘flexivilla’ by toshiko mori, 2008

the final 20 residences in the ‘next-gen 20’ architectural competition were recently
showcased in taipei. the 20 building will soon begin construction in the northeast
coast national scenic area in taiwan. before they are built they were be presented
to visitors of the venice architecture biennale this fall. squint/opera also created a
video showcasing the works in cooperation with image. here is some examples of
the designs that will be on show and the new video
