three possible designs have been released for an office tower above new york city port authority bus terminal. the bus terminal is a hub for all major routes in new york city. UK architects rogers strik harbour and partners have designed a building that is 42 storeys high and consists of four boxes stacked on top of one another, connected through diagonal trusswork. pelli clarke pelli architects have designed a 47 story high building with a wave pattern on the north and south of the building. the third design by american architects kohn pederson fox is a 48 story building with a glass exterior. the redevelopment will also extend the bus terminal allowing more buses to pass through. the final decision will be made in the next 2 months.
