'L-tower' by studio daniel libeskind

the ‘L-tower’ is the latest design by daniel liebeskind in the city of toronto, canada. the tower will house
condominiums and an arts and culture facility to compliment the pre-existing sony centre for the performing
arts. this is liebeskind’s second major project in the city after the recently opened royal ontario museum
extension. recently the ‘l-tower’ has run into some financing delays on the government funding which was
supposed to receive. if the funds are not received by the end of this september, the arts and culture facility
may have to be turned into a retail centre. the condominium portion will continue on schedule as the arts
facilities hang in waiting.
