spanish pavilion, venice architecture biennale

the main exhibition in the spanish pavilion ‘from building to architecture without paper’, will feature
50 spanish architects spanning two generations. some began designing using paper and pens while
others have only worked on computers. curated by architects, soledad del pino and ángel fernández
alba (afa arquitectos), the exhibit will feature built works as well as paperless concepts, which have
only been expressed over the internet. the show is divided into two parts, ‘without names, places’
an exhibit focusing on remarkable realized buildings rather than the work of star architects and
‘architecture without paper’ a collection of built and non-built works which all use digital media as an
architectural language.
