‘national tourist routes projects’ by 70ºn arkitektur

bird observatory
norway’s 70ºn arkitektur is the design firm behind this triptych of structures. the projects are part of the
national tourist routes project which aims to promote the norwegian countryside. the first structure is
a 6.5m bird-watching tower located on bird reservations in both skjerpenvatnet and gårdsvatnet.
the second building is a bike shed in grunnfør which has a meditation room above. the other structure
is a long rest area in eggum, which is located on an old road bend. all three projects are designed to offer
a relaxing spot for travelers and to protect them from harsh weather conditions.
