venice architecture biennale 08: R&SIE(n) + DS

the 'bi[r]o-bo[o]ts' which r&SIE(n) + DS exhibited at the venice architecture biennale this year can be seen as a
physiological experiment - ecosophical apparatus and skizoid machines. machines are always pretending to do
more than they are actually capable of. it's in their nature to alternate between fantasies, with frustrations
and fears inspired by their own right to break free and threaten our society. there is some uncertainty as to what
their purpose is as perfect alienated and domesticated creatures. with the anthropomorphic psychology that
has been instilled on them, they have become intellectual, interpretative and productive, with the ability to
re 'scenarize' the operating processes of the architectural field. 'bi[r]o-bo[o]ts' are seen as these machines.
they have multiple disorders and are products of paranoia.

R&SIE(n) + DS organic architectural projects are concerned with the relationship between context
and human relationship. they merge fiction and processes of transformation with desirable machines.
this results in a new aesthetic relationship with nature - something artificial, paranoiac and real.
