‘villa palladio’ by IaN+

for ‘next-gene 20’, IaN+ were looking for a method in which the natural and artificial could coexist, in a way that the action of dwelling could relate to the exterior world in different ways, immersing the built environment with the natural one. their proposal is an ecological evolution of the palladian villa, with the house being as much a living space as its natural surroundings. the design departs from the palladian planimetric subdivision into nine sections. starting from a circle the design develops radially according to four visual directrixes setting up a different relationship with nature. organized into three parts, each level has a different relationship with the landscape.
