venice architecture biennale 08: next-gene 20 - kyle chia-kai yang


'in phrase of stratus'

taiwanese architect kyle chia- kai yang designed 'in phrase of stratus', a house that incorporates the
idea of rain in its design. rain is apparent in the area of ao -di taiwan. taking this into consideration
yang constructed the house using guttter tectonics. when it rains the water leaves a trace of time
and its process on the surface of the house. through the rain trace in the glass inhabitants can view
the water as a feature.
